Blog Skiving-Article

Are you a skiving blogger?

Once the pursuit of nerdy insomniacs, weblogs are a growing craze.

This amounts to a third of the British working week being lost due to skiving...ahem cough cough moi?

Its now reckoned there are more than 50million residing on the Internet – with the blogging community expanding by around 65,000 a day.

That estimate comes from coffee company Boca Java, who say blogs are the new phone in modern society.

Newcomers range from political commentators and journalists to sports fans ,mothers at home & spanko's.

They provide personal websites which can contain diaries, event news, personal comments and recommendations, kinks & perversions.

However, the Internet remains a mixed blessing for employers, with a new report revealing that Britons spend the equivalent of 75 days every year surfing the Net instead of working. One worker stated "they get enough out of me for free"!

The average office worker spends two and half hours a day e-mailing friends, checking their finances and shopping, or just generally reading spanking stories.

This amounts to a third of the British working week being lost due to skiving workers – costing employers billions of pounds in wasted time.

The results came from a survey of more than 2,000 office workers organised by www.thomascook.com.
